Cars4Christmas is a not-for-profit organization that provides free basic transportation to disadvantaged individuals who are not able to obtain it on their own.
Giving cars away to Veterans
The event will be on Patriot's Day, Saturday the 11th of September at 10am in Veterans Memorial Park, 339 North Greenway., We will be giving free basic transportation to Veterans in need. Listen to Jan and Phil on 104.5 The Fox for details. Know a vet in need click on apply and tell us about them,
Cars 4 Heroes event
We will be giving our Heroes cars in Wichita on 9/11 with 104.5 The Fox. Jan and Phil are looking for Veterans in need of basic transportation or if you have a car to donate let us know, Many Veterans have been helped this summer and were not done yet!!!!!
3rd annual Cars 4 Heroes Golf Tournament
Kansas City golfing: Details are posted on our 3rd annual Golf tournament for Friday Sept 24th at Prairie Highland Golf course In Olathe Ks, Get signed up today by clicking on our golf tournament button on the Kansas City page. Cars will be given to our Heroes before the Tournament live on 101 the Fox Slacker Morning Show and local TV stations starting at 5:00 am up until the tournament starts.
Military Monday's in WICHITA
The Car Santa will be giving away vehicles to Veterans and their families with 104.5 The Fox. Jan and Phil will be there to pass out the Keys this summer. Listen for details on the Jan and Phil Morning show
Car Santa Honored
The Kansas City Royals honored the Car Santa at the Royals game by giving him the Buck O'Neil seat. It was a great game and we were treated fantastic said Car Santa. It's a real honor to sit in Buck;s seat as he did so much for the Kansas City community during his lifetime. He brought Tom and Chris Manning of Certified Cars of Belton (longtime repair facility of Cars 4 Christmas) and Jeff Dozier ( Car donor for the Cars 4 Heroes Project)

Jennifer needs a break and she gets one
Her oldest son has been @ St. Francis Hospital since April in which they
found out he had stomach cancer. He has had several surgeries and several
treatments of chemo. She had to take a leave of absence from her job and the
money she has had has ran out. Since then she has lost her vehicle since she
couldn't pay the monthly payments.. She's a single mother of 3 with no outside
support what so ever. She has spent every night @ her sons side only to leave
Kristina and her husband can get to work
Its not as much of need vehicle its that neither of the old two they have one doesn't run, the other unsafe and everything is just one bad episode after another. My son in law works in Wichita which is a 130 mile round trip a day. He tries to car pool and the company is already continuing to lay off which if they either don't get the vehicles they have repaired he may lose his job. I lost mine in July don't have ex

I am submitting this application on behalf of my daughter Darci. She is a full time student at WSU in the Master's of Social Work program. She is married with four children ages 8, 7, 4 & 3 and currently doing her internship at Cowley County Mental Health. It is unpaid so her husband is the only one working full-time.

Event in Wichita Tue Dec. 22nd
We will give away 10 vehicles to some very deserving families on Tue Dec 22nd at the Downtown Hyatt in Wichita. Join Jan and Phil on 104.5 The Fox broadcasting live as we pass the keys out to presents to big to put under the tree. Special thanks to Darrel and Lori at All Parts Auto Salvage on South Broadway for all there work at making this program work. They have collected and repaired vehicles for the last 2 years. They arwe also a drop off point if you want to donate a car.
Wichita Vet needs a car
I just got back from Iraq two months ago. I bought a used car out on East Kellogg near ANdover Road. To make a long story short the car had a bad engine and the dealership essentially put some kind of additives to get it beyond the 30 day state ins. On top of this I have spent a few thousand dollars attempting to re-establish my parental rights that my ex-wife was able to strip me of while serving in Iraq the past 13 months. Currently I am unemployed and looking for work.

CARS 4 CHRISTMAS KICKS OFF IN WICHITA
Cars 4 Christmas kicks off today November 30th!!!! We gave our first cars away at EZ Loan Auto Sales on Broadway last week and now 104.5 the Fox will have the Jan and Phil morning show start calling people and telling them they will receive a free car for Christmas at our event held on Dec 22nd in Wichita . Apply here and remember everyone in need can apply and we still hold our Veterans as a top priority.

Thanks to Mid-Continent instruments in Wichita for donating a vehicle to this deserving family. This is the letter received:I have been in the Air Force for 5 years and 6 months, I got married in November of 2008 and am expecting a baby boy at the end of July 2009. i have been driving the same car since i was sixteen and it is not suitable to have a child due to safety. My Wife totalled her car in early January after sliding on some ice into a ditch and we can not afford to get her a replacement vehicle nor do we have the credit to purchase a vehicle.
