3rd annual Cars 4 Heroes Golf Tournament
Kansas City golfing: Details are posted on our 3rd annual Golf tournament for Friday Sept 24th at Prairie Highland Golf course In Olathe Ks, Get signed up today by clicking on our golf tournament button on the Kansas City page. Cars will be given to our Heroes before the Tournament live on 101 the Fox Slacker Morning Show and local TV stations starting at 5:00 am up until the tournament starts.

Car Santa Honored
The Kansas City Royals honored the Car Santa at the Royals game by giving him the Buck O'Neil seat. It was a great game and we were treated fantastic said Car Santa. It's a real honor to sit in Buck;s seat as he did so much for the Kansas City community during his lifetime. He brought Tom and Chris Manning of Certified Cars of Belton (longtime repair facility of Cars 4 Christmas) and Jeff Dozier ( Car donor for the Cars 4 Heroes Project)

A daughter's Plea
My dad is a great dad, perhaps the best dad of all time. He has worked his hardest to support all of his children, there is 5 of us, in all we do but as we all know, money is hard to come by. He works 20 miles away from his home and does not have a car. Currently he has borrowed a friend's car but that is about to be repossessed because of his friend's previous faulty payments. He bought two cars already this year but the transmission went out in one of them a few months ago and the other one refuses to run and we do not know what is wrong with them.
Single father struggling
I am writing on behalf of my brother Brian. He is a single father to a four year old girl. He was living in Dallas and decided the enviroment at the time was not a healthy situation for his daughter to be raised in. He fought for sole custody and decided to leave everything in Dallas to bring his daughter back to the midwest.

He loves how you guys help people, and enjoys listening to the joy you give. His name is Bill. He's just a guy that in my opinion deserves a break. He's a ex Army Ranger with 2 Purple Hearts who has defended his Country in 2 wars,and, as is his luck I've come to realize, has been forgotten by his Country.
Samantha needs a car to get to work again
My daughter, Samantha , is a single mother of 2 little boys. She supports them by herself with no child support at all. Unfortunately her car broke down in August of this year and she was not able to repair it because it was too costly. This shattered her world. Because of having no vehicle she could not get the boys to daycare, nor could she get to work or pay her rent. She lost her job. She gave up her home and moved in with a friend. They need to get to the Doctor
My Husband Bruce has just had back surgery and cant work right now and we could really use a car. We have a 2yr old girl that is a liver post transplant and we have to get her to many doctor appointments and labs and Bruce needs to get to therapy. We rely on friends and family to get there now or the bus but she can get sick easily now that the weather is getting bad.

Council Bluffs, IA.: My Aunt Tammi has been a dedicated single mother of a 13 year old boy who has Down's Syndrome since he was born.Tammi was recently diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and it is a struggle now more than ever for her to perform the daily tasks to make sure her son is taken care of, especailly without transportation.

Do u know what it is like putting six kids on a bus all the complaining moaning and groaning having to get off waiting on another bus to come. Having several different appointments to make on time, nearly impossible. I said nearly because I’ve done it either one or both buses are late or the bus driver waiting on someone to get to the bus. Sometimes I have to cancel an appointment or the appointment cancels me out.

I am a continuing education student who is a single mother, raising four children, ages 3, 4, 8 and 11. I am alone for the first time, and starting my education from scratch with hopes of being one of the first members of my family to earn a college degree. Since the beginning of my vocational training through the state, I have been a top student, making all A's in our program.
