Kansas City Navy Vietnam Vet asks for help and gets it

I am a Veteran , I served on a submarine during Viet Nam. I now have an autoimmune disease called Antiphopholipid Antibody Syndrome that has caused me to have several strokes which have affected my vision and many other things leaving me disabled, and therefore I have to be at the VA for appts very often. In a period of 14 months our only vehicle was stolen twice. The 1st time we had full coverage insurance so when we got the Jeep back the repairs were covered. The 2nd time however, the Jeep was 14 yrs old so on Mar 26 of this year we changed to liability coverage. I am waiting on Social Security disability to come thru so we had to cut back on expenses for a while, well on Apr 21 it was stolen again. It was recovered 4 days later with no motor, no passenger seat, no hood, well there was nothing but the windfshield washer reservoir under where the hood used to be. So for now we are begging rides and walking where ever we need to go as disability checks will not begin until late August and then we will have to save a while before we can replace the car. In the mean time we are just hoping there are no health emergencies we have to attend to. This would mean so very much to me as health emergencies are a very real and common thing with my diseases, and having no transportation to get to help is a very scary thing.
We will give them a vehicle at the Jason Michael Carroll Concert at Harrah's on July 19th
