Nov. 26th we gave our first recipient a vehicle at a live remote at Cars 4 Christmas supporter Larry Buds. Jan and Phil from 104.5 the Fox helped us pass out keys to a white Lumina. KAKE and KSN TV stations were also on hand to see the greatful recipient. Larry Buds is still raising funds,stop by and help the cause.

We received this request:

I know a young family who really need your help. This young mother began her life with a learning disability. She started her march through life with a purpose and was never afraid to go the extra mile to finish in the same place as her classmates.

When she was in third grade, I was told educationally she would never go beyond that. She never stopped trying until she received a college degree!

My daughter and I were in a massive car accident while she was still in high school. I have major brain damage from that incident and she has never left my side, making sure I am where I am suppose to be and doing okay.

This is a fine family doing their very best in this world. Financial problems have hit all of us, no matter how poor or wealthy we are.

Jessica’s husband’s hours have been cut at work and Jessica was laid off many months ago. Their daughter is joy, kindness, and love rolled into one. Her special needs fall short of the loving person she is.

Jessica’s car has started for the final time. She must walk to school and walk Bri home after school. It is getting so cold outside. Bri would also be able to participate in cheerleading with Special Olympics if they had a vehicle. Jessica has never known the happiness or security of having a good, reliable car. Please see it in your hearts to grant this wish. It would completely change three very special lives.
