I am submitting a request for my daughter, she is a single mom of 4, 2 are special need children, her youngest being 7 months. She was a premature baby of only 1 pound and a half. She spent 4 months of her life in the hospital and is still needing medical attention, she had to come home with oxygen for her little lungs still haven't healed. She has gone thru heart surgery for an enlarged heart. The other special child is 6 yrs old and to was a premie. She also went thru surgeries, and her first yr of life she had to have a feeding tube in her. She is in a special needs school. The 2 others are 4 and 10. Melissa goes to school at Pen Valley and will get her associates in nursing in Dec, but it is difficult for her to get the baby to her doctors appointments and for her to get to school. She had a car but a hit and run driver hit her car and she no longer has a car. She is on a fixed income and just cannot afford a new car. I believe she would be a great candidate -- a new car would help her out by being able to get her baby to her doctors appt's and to get her to school so she can finish college and get her degree. It would take so much strain off her. She wants so much to be able to get her degree so she can make a good living to her and her 4 children.
