Hello, my name is William Kyle Black and my father is retired SFC William R. Black. Sergeant Black served our country for twenty years in the armed forces and throughout his military experience he has travel the world as a loyal soldier. Randy readily served in Germany, Korea, and Saudi Arabia. Many hardships he endured were losing his wife to cancer, . Through it all, William persevered.
During his patriotic duties, especially the last few years, William Randolph Black has encountered other hardships. Recently, Sergeant Black lost his job and his truck’s transmission has gone bad. Monies for these repairs are unattainable and without a vehicle, Randy has been unable to sustain employment. With your generosity, this hardworking, bighearted, and deserving man is a noble choice for this extraordinary reward.
Randy’s generosity is known throughout his community. As a model provider, he continually aided his ten year-old daughter with medical bills, housing, and the necessities of life; without money, Additionally, my wife, daughter, son, and I miss his presence in our lives. A reliable vehicle would change all of this! At my father’s previous job, Randy would constantly provide rides to those in need. He misses the companionship of those he helped the most. Recounting the struggles and victories of his past with colleagues helped him endure. Recently I went to his house and found his refrigerator wasn’t working properly (and hadn't been for months). I purchased a used refrigerator for him, doing all I could to help the man who always helped me. As a widower (and I don’t believe he ever recovered from losing my mother), William R. Black struggles daily. Often he recalls that within a year after her (my mother) death, he was sent back to Korea to serve his country. He did so willingly, and later, he continued his patriotism. My father would not ask for help; men of this generation just don't ask! Maybe it is the way he grew up or maybe it is the military way of life. Whichever the case may be, he has remained gentle, kind and giving, doing without to give to those who have less than him.
I believe a car or truck will give him a renewed hope. William Randolph Black would believe an opportunity like this is only for other people. For once I would like my father be on the receiving end. Thank you for this opportunity. You will not be disappointed in choosing him as your recipient. This will change his future- a reward for serving his country and changing the future for so many others.
