Richard is a Marine who served in Iraq with his latest discharge July 2009. He is an injured combat veteran, struggling to keep full time work without a car, having to rely on others for rides to and from work.
As a veteran, Richard also has several appointments at the Grand Island VA where is is treated for his war injures and can not always make the appointments due to lack of transportation.

Giving Richard a car, would give him a jump start on getting his life back in order and being able to obtain full time employement and continued medical treatment that is needed.Sun:
Brad, (A Vet) received a traumatic brain injury in vehicle accident. Mentally he's come out of it pretty good. Speech & swallowing, affected, eyesight and teeth affected. In a wheel chair. Left arm & leg are of no use. They now live in an apt. in Omaha, and are getting along quite well. Karen lives with Brad and has to help with his daily needs. They love each other very much. Karen has been deaf since the age of 3. But, Karen is a good driver, very alert. They need a a vehicle to get Brad to the VA for his medical treatments
