Omaha hero need to get to work

Hi I'm Lisa . I don't listen to your station but I have a special friend that does. He was telling me about the neat things you guys do at Christmas. He loves how you guys help people, and enjoys listening to the joy you give. His name is Bill. He's just a guy that in my opinion deserves a break. He's a ex Army Ranger  with 2 Purple Hearts who has defended his Country in 2 wars, and, as is his luck I've come to realize, has been forgotten by his Country. I've never, even once, heard him complain about it, but I know it hurts. 5 yrs. ago, his wife of 30 yrs. came home one day and told him it was time for him to go. She screwed him pretty good and he's had to file bankrupsy to keep a roof over his head. He has a job, However they're not very forgiving when it come to missing work for any reason. A short time ago, while driving to work, in a snow storm, his old beater of a car died. I told him I'd take him, but he's a strong man and feels badly about asking or receiving help from his loved ones. He's old school and he believes he should be the one giving the help, not the other way around. I hate to say it but he really is the poster boy for Murphys Law. I've heard from him of your cars for christmas and if it's not to late, I'd like to nominate him.   Thanks for listening.   Lisa.
