Wayne and Sharon

This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do but don't know where else to turn.  My husband is a Vietnam Vet who is disabled not service connected yet still fighting that battle.  He has multiple problems a pituitary tumor, peripheral neuropathy, PTSD, emphysema COPD to name a few.   I too have problems arthritis that has made it very painful to walk or stand for any length of time and Atrial Fibrilation.  These things cause us to have many doctor appointments and we also still have two teenagers at home.
We are living on his disability check and a small pension that barely covers our bills trying to hold on to our home as it is.  Now our van has broken down and is across town in my nieces driveway, we spent money that had been given to us to buy Christmas but were unable to repair it.  I am trying to find a way to get my husband to the dentist on Monday to have the rest of his teeth pulled as he and I are getting dentures thanks to the generosity of Catholic Charities and a dear friend that sent us to them and paid for mine.   He also has an appointment on the 4th of December and I have one on the 10th as well as I should go have my blood tested soon to make sure it is thin enough.   I know this is a lot to ask and there are many more families out there in worse shape than we are but I don't know what else to do and my husband can't handle the stress if I say much to him.   Our van isn't in the best shape as we have held the back passenger door shut with a bungie cord for a couple years now but it gaps and lets in all the cold.  But at least it had been getting us around and was large enough for me to fit in I am a very large woman. !  I don't know what else to say but maybe you could help us find someone that could repair it for small payments?

Thank you for your time.
