Angela in Bonner Springs:  I believe they need a car ,because she had a deer run out in front of her,and totalled her mini van,with her and her two children being on social security,she does not have funds to buy even a used car.she did not have full coverage ,because all her social security check goes to her bills and household items,her and her two children really needs this car because she has type 1 juivnile diabetes,which requires lots of drs appointments each month,and she has a 13 year old ,that has had 2 open heart surgeries,and requires lots of doctors appointments ,because he will need another  open heart in the future.this car will help her get her children to and from all these appointments,they have dental appointments,and she also has an 11 year old with ashma,that requires frequent doctors appointments,and winter months are the hardest on him.She has no way to go grocery shopping,and the only transportation in Bonner Springs does not provide rides to and from kansas city kansas,nor kansas city missouri,for all of their health concerns.
