of the people of Kansas City for trying to make this
City a better place to live by sponsoring programs for
the needy like this one. You an your organization
should be TRULY commended for all the time and
"caring' and help this project brings. It is with this
that I can truly say that I AM GLAD to be from the
greatest City in the Midwest!!! KANSAS CITY!!!!And
that we TRULY have THE BEST without hesitation, Radio
people in the business!!! I have listened to your
station Since the early "Dick and Jay" days, and ms.
Katie Maguckin, and I am still a KY rocker!! As all of
my friends and I find ourselves in the late
30's,(ARRGGGGGGHHHH)STILL rock with 102!!!(99.7KY)

THERE IS A LADY WE WORK WITH THAT WE THINK REALLY DESERVES A BREAK . SHE WAS LIVING AT A BATTERED WOMENS SHELTER UNTIL RECENTLY AND NOW HAS HER THREE GRANDCHILDREN LIVING WITH HER. SHE SOMETIMES WALKS FOUR TO FIVE MILES TO WORK WHEN HER CAR IS DOWN. HER CAR IS FALLING APART AND THE REPAIRS ARE ENDLESS. THE CAR HAS BROKEN WINDOWS BUT SHE STILL DRIVES IT INTO WORK, IT ALSO MAKES LOUD NOISES COMING IN THE PARKING LOT AT WORK. SHE IS A HARD WORKER AND IS HERE EVERY DAY NO MATTER WHAT. SHE REALLY NEEDS A NEW CAR BADLY. PLEASE CONSIDER HER FOR ONE OF THOSE FREE CARS THANK YOU HER FELLOW EMPLOYEES
I know
you are not located in this area. But I really need help. I am
a divorced Lady trying to keep my family together. I just paid 1200
for a 1992 Ford Taurus GL and can't afford to find out why the Ignition
switch won't make contact. I have tried here in Sierra Vist to try to
find some help. But so far no use. I need either to sell the car and
buy something else or get it fixed if I can find someone that won't
charge me much. You see my daughter and I live from paycheck to paycheck.
I spread my tax return as far as I could to buy this car. And through
some bad decisions do not have the credit to buy a new car. I just
need transportation that will make it the 65 miles a day to Tucson. I am a
new CNA just passed my state boards and took a job with a company that
sends me places to take care of the elderly. And good transportation
is very important so I can get there and back. I am sorry to complain
to you all, but I just found this site on the computer and am wondering if you
can help.

My
sister Shavona ******* and her husband Charles have a rather large
family. They have a total of 7 children between the two of them, 5 that
live in the household. Recently, my sister took in her husband's 7
nieces and nephews. They were living in drug infested housing with no
lights or gas. Although her situation was already cumbersome, she took on
her husband's nieces and nephews with no thought on it. This was a very
thankless act, and something most of us might not be willing to do, but
the problem is that they only have one vehicle. They recently took
permanent custody of these children, and the family of 7 which is now a
family of 14 needs an extra vehicle.
Anything you or your organization can do to help is greatly
appreciated.
