Veterans receive cars at Harrah's

Cars 4 Heroes gave away several cars in Kansas City Monday night June 15th.

Country 94.1, KFKF's Summer of Freedom Concert #2 stars Jason Michael Carroll on July 19th at the Voodoo Lounge at Harrah's. Tickets are just $10 and are going fast. Purchase tickets online at Ticketmaster or at Toby's inside Harrah's. Cars 4 Heroes will be giving Veterans in need help with a free car.The front row of all of our Summer of Freedom concert events will be reserved for returning veterans.

Another Veteran gets surprised at the Josh Turner Concert

Deb and I both vets, she with the Vietnam conflict and me with the Korean conflict. If it wasnt for me, I dont know who would help her. Ever since her divorce -and trying to collect child support -, plus a recent death in the family, left her in a financial bind. It seems for every step she takes forward, two more are taken back. With no car, she has been known to walk to and/or from work - a distance of 3 mi one way is getting harder and harder.

Miami, OK Veteran gets a vehicle to get to VA appointments

My husband, Dave, served his country in the Army National Guard. He went to Iraq and has been in the Army Guard for the past few years. He has a tumor in his brain, can't hardly walk or see, or play with our young son, Ethan, anymore. He falls down all the time, can't drive or see, and can't be left alone.

He was with the initial wave in 2001 with a unit that was deployed in the beginning of the war. In fact, his unit was cut off and they ran out of food and had to survive for a month off of local animals and water, to stay alive.

JOSH TURNER CONCERT TICKETS SOLD OUT

The Josh Turner Concert for Monday June 15th at Harrahs Voodoo lounge has sold out. All the proceeds go to Cars 4 Heroes to provide free transportation to Veterans and their families. Look for our next concerts in July and August. We will follow up with our annual Golf Tournament at Falcon Ridge in Lenexa Ks on Sept. 1st. Come see the 101 st Airborn Skydive in and land their Blackhawk on the driving range.

Thomas We gave Thomas a truck friday live on KFKF with Dale and Mary. Donations came in and we got him licensed, insured and money so he didnt sleep on the streets anymore. We will be following him to help him get his family back:

Christie was a on site Manager at a Motel for 7yrs and have 6 Kids and her Husband just started a new job 2mos ago and was doing well at the time and had twins on the 16th of Nov. and then on the 28th of Nov. she was woken up by her 11yr old yelling fire fire the house is on fire, so luckly they all got out safely just with the clothes on their back so sad to say they lost everything in the fire even the only car she had was burned up.

I am a disabled veteran, and I work periodically at parttime jobs including substitute teacher, my wife has been unemployed for the past year due to her not working our vehicle has been repossed. One of our five children has cerebral palsey,this vehicle was the only vehicle that we had to beable to take him to medical appointmens and other transportation needs. Having another vehicle would help our family GREATLY

Thank You, Harrah's Casino

The Car Santa Taped Harrah's Lucky Break, a show on KMBC 9 TV, that will be aired on Sat Nov. 15th at 12:30 Sat Evening announcing that The Cars 4 Christmas Event will be held on Dec 22nd at Harrah's in North Kansas City, Harrahs presented Cars 4 Christmas with a check for Ten Thousand dollars to help support those in the community needing transportation.

Car Santa at Will Shields Event

On Dec 3rd the Car Santa went to Will Shields "Will to Suceed Gala" at the Overland Park Convention Center that was rasing funds for Operation Breakout. Sister Berta (Head of the Charity) submitted a recipient that received a vehicle from the Car Santa at the event, below is his story:
