On Dec 3rd the Car Santa went to Will Shields "Will to Suceed Gala" at the Overland Park Convention Center that was rasing funds for Operation Breakout. Sister Berta (Head of the Charity) submitted a recipient that received a vehicle from the Car Santa at the event, below is his story:

Kelvin is a single father raising two children on his own. He gets the children up and ready for school about 6:00 am and they all get on the bus to take them to School, Then Kelvin gets back on the bus and heads to his minimum wage job and when work is done he rides the bus back to school to get the children and they all ride the bus back home where Kelvin says his real job starts.

Getting his own car save Kelvin about 2 hrs a day in riding the bus and gives the family the freedom to do other things.
