Katherine is a mother of four girls ages 10 through 13 she
was
diagnosed with cancer last December and has been at the point of death. She and
her girls came to live with my husband and I when she could no longer
take care of them and had to have surgery.
Praise be to God her cancer is now in remission and she has recently
moved back on her own. Katherine is not out of the woods completely but
she is determine to live as much of a normal life as possible.
She desperately needs a car, her responsibility is great raising 4 girls
and one of them has breathing problems.
I hope that you will consider helping her.
Thank You,
Sabrina

I’m submitting a request on behalf of my friend Lavy, who
is
34 years old, and her husband Conrad, who is 36 years old. Lavy
and Conrad have been married for 11 years and are the parents of three
boys (ages 7, 5 and 3).
Conrad has suffered from juvenile diabetes for 32 years. A few years
ago on their anniversary Lavy gave him one of her kidneys.
Unfortunately, the transplant was rejected. A second transplant was also
rejected
and Conrad now requires dialysis three times per week. He has also had
two heart attacks. The second one occurred just before Christmas (2006)
during dialysis and left him in a coma for three days.
Conrad is currently in a rehabilitation center due to the amputation of
several fingers on both hands, as well as an amputation below the knee
of his left leg. Due to his medical condition, Conrad has been unable
to work for several months, which has caused great financial strain.
It has been really hard for this family to deal with these unfortunate
events. Lavy had decided to go back to school in order to properly
equip herself in the event that she eventually has to become the primary
provider for her family.
Conrad is scheduled to come home from the rehabilitation center in the
next few weeks. To help care for him, Lavy is going to need a
wheelchair accessible van to transport her husband back and forth to doctor
appointments, which are all located forty minutes to one hour away. They
live in
Murfreesboro, Tennessee but have to travel to Nashville
for Conrad’s medical appointments. Lavy is currently driving a 1990
Honda Accord (with nearly 200,000 miles) which is inadequate for her
husband’s medical condition.
Lavy has not asked for assistance because she and her husband have a
strong faith in GOD and believe that everything is going to be all right.
I believe that GOD puts the right people in the right place at the
right time to help his family. I know that Lavy would sincerely appreciate
anything you can do to assist her to obtain adequate transportation her
husband and family.

We are a hardworking family that has just had a rough
year. We have 3
daughters 11, 9, and 7. My husband works really hard from daylight till
well up in the night most of the time he has 3 different jobs, 2 of
which involve volunteer work for the local community. We have just had a
really hard year and could use a little help. We are not able to afford
a car payment, or get financing. A ray of sunshine at this dark hour
for us would be a blessing. Thank you so much for considering us.

My grand-daughter Heather has had a VERY hard year. She became pregnant by her fiancé, who then was killed. She has not been able to work to provide for herself and her son Dante, for lack of a car. Heather and her fiancé, Terrence, were to be married just 12 days after he was killed by gun-shot. Her pregnancy was tough, filled with depression and muscular problems, yet she still smiled and carried on. Heather was in 'pre-labor' for 3 painful days before the doctors finally had to perform a c-section on July 24, 2006,because Dante's umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck and body. We are all so proud of Heather and how well she has carried on the task of being both mother and father to her son. Our family has tried to find a reliable car that we could afford for her, but we have had no such luck. Please help her to overcome the challenge of providing for her child and herself by donating a car for her to begin her new life as a mother.

I was in the army, i was in the infantry so when i got out
there was
nothing i have trained to to in the civilian world and its is affecting
my family harshly. I moved to Knoxville tn i was told there was
opportunities here and i would do well. When we i used all the money we
had to
get a place to live and turn on the unities and i got a job at the
first place i could. Well the place i went to was a auto dealer and i was
told that you could make huge amounts of money and i got hyped up abut
it. Needless to say ive been trying so hard to make ends meet i lost
my job because i could not sell as many cars as thay wanted me to. We
where hurting before and now its a lot worse my truck got repoed and now i
have no way to go anywhere and i live in the middle of nowhere because
it was cheaper. We spent our last dollar on rent this month and now me
my wife and my two babies have no way to get food or jobs. My water is
going to be cut off in a week or two and the ele is getting cut
off on the 27 and i have no way to fix it we have on family here to
help. A form of any transportation would change our lives no car payment
would help us spend money on things that we need. I wish i could give
my babys the world and it kills me that i dont even have any way to
get them food right now. Please help us we would be very grateful for
your act of kindness

Greeneville
I think she deserves a car because, when she was in the
5th grade she
had to quit school to take care of her 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Our
Mother had TB and was hospitalized till I was 2.Then my brother was burned
85% of his body later on in years and she had to leave her kids with my
Dad to stay with him out of town in another hospital. After that she
went on to raise other family members as well. In 1994 her husband who was
retired from the Army came down with agent orange and passed away Since
that she has become disabled and has a hard time. Her whole world was
ripped away the day he went to be with the Lord. She has a hard time
getting around, she is in a power chair but no one in our family can help
her buy a lift to haul it for her. So as you see she had no childhood and
has helped family, friends,& even strangers. She has never had anything
give to her or has she ever asked. I love her so much, she is a angel
sent from God. Thank you so much...May God Bless Each And Everyon
e Of You. Please remember to keep her in your prayers... Love, Kathy

My Mom is a wonderful person. Us kids are so blessed
to have her as
our Mom. She works so hard to raise us up in a loving, spiritual home.
Not only is she our Mom but she is Mom to the youth group at our church
where she is the youth director. She loves all of us unconditionally
and is there for all of us. She needs a dependable car because every
week she picks up all the kids from the youth group to make sure they get
to all the church activities, then she drives them home. She does this
because she wants to keep GOD first in all of our lives.
Please help my Mom with a car. The transmission in her van has gone
out and the engine is messed up too. May GOD bless all of you who are
doing good works in his name.
Knoxville
I don't want to be selfish but i have 6 kids and i work
everyday my van
that i worked very hard to pay off the engine went out on it and now i
have no extra money. I really wondering without a car and trying to
save money for a car how are my kids going to have the Christmas they
deserve this year. I don't get housing assistance and I don't ask anyone
for anything ever, My pastor says don't ever let my pride come in
between me and my needs and always know that God is on my side, so here i am
trying to find some help not a hand out just a hand up if someone else

Bristol,
My wife and I have been using her father's 1986 Dodge truck. Having
broke down again, we are struggling to get her to work. She is also 7 mo.
pregnant with our third child (due Dec.14th)The sad part is I work for a
car dealer and have tried to finance one, but we went bankrupt a few
years ago. Pride won't allow me to ask for handouts at work because I
don't want people to know my situation. But even when we seem to save a
little money, something else goes down. Our refrigerator went out for the
second time in a month costing us grocery loss and repair bills. We
both cried that night wondering "why us?" We are good people who will try
to help others as much as our means let us, yet we have no one to turn
to in our needs. When the old truck is up and driveable it hurts my
wifes stomach and back(stick-shift).Please help. We are hard workers and
my wife deserves so much better.Thank you for listening and God bless
you.
Clinton,
Hello,
My name is Wendy and I am 37 years old and have Multiple Sclerosis. I
am in desperate need of a car as my Dr. is 30 miles away from my home
and I have to rely on other people to take me. Gas is SO expensive and
is looking to get higher, and I can't afford to buy one. My dream is
to have a good running car, I don't care what it looks like, just as
long as I have a car so that I can be more independent. I am hoping to go
back to college to earn my degree so that I am able to get off of SSI
so that other people may have an opportunity to receive it as I know
there are more people out there that need it worse than I do. So, I
really need a car in order to get back and forth to school and the Dr's as
well as the store and such. If you could PLEASE help me out I would
really appreciate it. Thank you for your time and may God Bless you all!
Wendy

Ooltewah,
Let's see, this is our dauther, she is 19 and getting ready to go to
college. She got the hope scholarship which Georgia gives out to 3.0 or
higher grade point average, this was the only way she could go since we
have no extra money or spare auto to give her. She has a boyfriend
(which she lives with) that worked until he got a leg injury last summer
that put him out of work until futher notice. His doctor said he might
not ever go back to work. So see this car is needed so she can complete
her education so she can find a great job and take care of herself.
Please consider our lovley dauther for one of your fine cars.
Thanks so much
