I am a 26 year old College student. I travel 115 miles each way to
school everyday. My car recently broke down and am using my mothers car. I
don't have a job, because they are very limited up here. I am borrowing
money from family and church to help with gas. I will be starting work study
at the end of the month. I do have a roommate lined up in Albuquerque
but cant not move because my mom would be stuck without a car. Some days
i cant go to school because i am out of gas money. Thank you

I was 15 when i moved away from my family and started my own. I moved
in with my boyfriend and got my first job, determined not to be a teen
mother statistic. At 17 i married and became pregnant with baby #3. Two
years later i had another child. I worked full-time with every
pregnancy up till the day of delivery, and returned back to work just weeks
after. Having only a 8th grade education waitressing was the only job i was
qualified for. My husband was never worked, but he loved his kids I
always told myself. I came from a broken home and refused to hurt my kids
with a divorce. When the baby was born my husband ran away. We only see
him on holidays now. I lost my job lost my home and lost my hope. For 6
months my children and myself lived in a minivan. I then made the
hardest decision of my life to give up my children temporarily till I could
get back on my feet. It only took me 3 months till i got my kids back.
It is now going on 3years since their dad left and we are still
  not stable. I have not had a car for 2years so it is impossible to
keep a job. My family has been moved more times then I can count, because
we cant pay the rent. Recently I was approved for housing assistance
finally reliving some of the strain so we can relax and begin to heal. Iam
currently unemployed due to transportation and my children are in
desperate need of counseling services. Right now furthering my education is
my main goal and transportation is my only enemy. My children miss
their dad but they also miss the life we had. Going to the park the zoo or
family barbecues. many people think im crazy for having so many kids so
young. I think im blessed they each have there place in the world and i
get the pleasure of guiding them in to it. I am 23

  My name is Andrew, my fiancé, Jennifer l."Oliver",myself
and my son(9)my stepson(6)and Jen's daughter also 9)moved to Pecos, New
Mexico in March. We are all from Cincinnati, Ohio. We wanted to simplify
our lives after triple grueling custody battles, and I am originally
from Los Lunas,New Mexico but lived the last 16yrs.in Ohio and Kentucky. We
love it here in New Mexico. Unfortunately my job plans have not worked
out as well as we were hoping, not even close to what it was suppose to
be(a book could be written and probably sell well on what we have been
through)Im not a writer and dont have the time even if I was.Im at work
12hrs a day,I make $12.64 an hour and pay outrageous union dues that
really serve no purpose. We are expecting another child in April I
know,stuff happens)I make $300 too much per month for government assistance. We
are without transportation which has made EVERYTHING next to impossible
to do, Docter appointments, School PTA, going to a REAL grocery store
 e with more affordable pricing on food.We are in a really huge mess
that is burying us every day that passes.We are drowning in every way,We
desperately need "convenient" transportation.With my income and our
expenses,I cant even begin to think about purchasing a vehicle any time
sooner or later.I know there are great resources out there,somewhere,we
NEED help on a massive scale,I dont know what else to do,we are seriously
desperate,I am begging for someone to help,or matters will
become...much worse,for my family.Please help us if you can.Thank
