Dover

I am a college student getting a free car would change my life because I
wouldn't need to worry about getting home from college. and so I could
go home every weekend so I can see my new born son almost 2 months old.

Portsmouth

**Please help this family in such need.**

They fell on hard times a year ago when the Pastor's wife, Diane, fell
ill and could not work anymore.
Then Ed just lost his job a month ago.

I know they don't have a car and have not had one for over 8 months.
And that car was unsafe and broken down most of the time.
They have to walk everywhere...to get groceries and her medications.
Sometimes with their a nine year old daughter to help carry the bags.

This is truely a family that would not only appreciate this blessing,
but always are giving to others with no expectations in return.

My wish is to bless them with a car for all they have given to me and
others.

Sincerely,

Hampton

Hello,  I would like you to consider my sister as a person in need of a
used car.  She is 46 years old and has never had a car.  It is difficult
to keep a good job without having transportation.  She is and has been
a single person who has worked very hard all her life but has not been
able to break out of the life style of being dependent on others for
transportation.  She has always worked within walking distance of her
house as either a waitress or housekeeper. Her health requires doctor
visits which again she depends on others for assistance. Having a car would
allow her to obtain a better job to advance herself to a better life
style and better health. She has wanted to go back to school but again
without transportation if is very difficulty.  As a family we do as much as
we can without making her feel that she is a needy person.   But she
is!
I thank you in advance for considering her in your program.  Please
feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
Respectfully,

Sanbornville

We are a family of six (two adults and four children).
In this area there is nothing within walking distance, the last vehicle
that I had was sold to me under false pretenses, we were told that it
was in perfect working order and yet within a few months of drivin, it
was dead.
Without a vehicle I can not pick my youngest daughter up from
kindergarten, I can not take my children to the doctors, I can not even take
them to the Emergency Room if necessary. I am unable to do grocery
shopping or necessity shopping. It's really, very difficult to do much of
anything in this area with out a vehicle. With our rent, and electric
bill being so high, we can't afford to just buy a vehicle, we can't
afford to buy anything really. I want to help my husband out and get a job
to help pay the bills, but without a vehicle there isn't much I can do,
to make matters even worse, my husband is on the brink of losing his
job because he can't get there on time because I have no vehicle to bring
him to work.
If i had a vehicle I could get my husband to work ontime every day and
i could schedule my kids long overdue dentist and doctor appointments,
I could do some grocery shopping for my family and we would be able to
eat real meals again. I would be able to get a job and help my husband
pay the bills so the electric doesn't get turned off again and so we
don't get evicted. We would also be able to get a real house phone again
instead of having to use a pay as you go cell phone that takes up way
too much money.
All in all, a vehicle would help my family out emmensly.

Portsmouth

Having a vehicle again is the last thing needed to get my life back.
Back in February of this year I planned mine and my childrens escape
from a domestic violence situation. We left everything we had behind. We
lived in a shelter for four very long months, during this time, I had a
hard time finding a place to live I could afford myself. The Public
Housing areas had waiting lists I was #159. I was so depressed, all I
wanted was to have my own place and get my life back on track. I felt so
alone. I finally got that phone call saying they have a place for us. We
have been here for about a month now. Doing well but without a car to
get around and three children it is still a challenge. Doctor
appointments, food shopping and just getting out of the house is a day of waiting
on everyone else, and excuses of why they cant take us today.
Anyway to make a very long story short it would be nice to receive a
phone call saying you can help us. Thank you for your help.

Keene

im sure im not in need as most people... in oct.2005 we had floods in
keene nh, we had no idea it was happening, my sisters b/f had died the
night before and we were inside the house all grieving him. we didnt
turn on the tv or listen to the radio..at 2:30am on the 9th of oct. I took
my dog out to go to the bathroom and noticed the water was up over our
cars, only the aten. was sticking up, and my neighbors were getting
picked up in a boat. they told us they were coming back to get us. so we
left or house and cars there. it took us a week to get back into our
house- still no cars. then someone gave us a car, said the tran. was
going but we could drive it until then... we missed 2 weeks of work
because of the flood and my sisters b/f (we had to make all the arrangements)
both my husband and i got fired....to make a long story shorter, we
bought a truck 89 dodge dakota, and the car just died, the truck needs
major work. we did get different jobs, but now are having trouble gett
ing back and forth to work, we are just finding it so hard to get
ahead. people told us it would take a while but we didnt plan on this. if
there is anything you can do to help us, please let me know.... i know
alot of other people need cars more then we do, i really dont expect
anything, just thought i would give it a try.....thanks for
listening.........lisa

Merrimack,

My boy freind had just purchased his first new vehicle (2002 ford
mustang) in december and was working hard to make the payments (even when he
was un-employed) just two weeks ago he and I were traveling down to NC
to visit some freinds who we havent seen in years. halfway through
virginia I fell asleep at the wheel while he slept in the back, and rolled
his car over three or four times.
with his car totaled and towed away, Isaac called his insurance company
with high hope of getting his dream car replaced, only to find out that
the policy due to non payment on one months coverage and would not
cover any damage. Isaac still owes the bank $8,900.00 for the car wich he
is no longer able to drive. he would have made the insuance payment but
he never received notice of cancelation from his insurance agent. I
felt terible as did my parents. My parents wanted to help hime out so they
lent him one of their vehicles for the summer. unfortunatly it is a
1982 vw jetta with 213k miles on it and it overheats every ten miles.
Isaac needs a good running vehicle to get him back and forth to work
evryday. He will not be able to afford a vehicle with his sallary and be able
to pay off the bank. Isaac needs a reliable car or truck that he will
be able to use for work and also to transport his drums. If you could
find it in your hearts to help him out in his situation then I am
sure he would be greatful. I know I would be.

I am the husband of St. Jamie ******* and the father of our 4
children (Jon- 12 Yrs. old, Zach- 8 Yrs. old, Juliette- 6 Yrs. old- she is
disabled, and Nathaniel- 2 Yrs. old). We started an independent ministry
in New Hampshire for low income families and drug addicts offering
clothing, food and finances, as well as, counseling on specific programs to
help with other needs.

I used the earnings from my job selling computing equipment to
finance the ministry. Since the year 2001 we have been in trouble
financially. I lost my job and have failing health. I am trying to get SSI or SSDI
but have to go through a long process to receive benefits. I have been
trying since 2002.

Currently both our vehicles are dead and we have limited resources to
try and fix one of them with no luck so far. I am attending school at a
community college through government grants to help me get a better
more secure job to support my family but this is being hindered by no
reliable transportation and at present none at all. We really need help.

Back in the year 2001 I gave a car to a low income family in Vermont
(the wife has MS and couldn't drive a standard transmission car) I also
paid to get there other car running. I also helped a friend trying to
kick Heroin by paying for his induction fee into a program for help
(Teen Challenge). I also paid for his family van to be fixed (@$750.00).
There was another famioly I helped who had 6 kids and there van broke the
week before Christmas year 2000, I paid (@$700.00) for that to be fixed
also as a Christmas gift.

At this time in my life, I have to ask for help to provide safe
reliable transportation for my family. Can you please help us? I will be
eternally grateful.

  Merry Christmas,
