Father Flanagan LTD is a Nevada not-for-profit Public Charity Corporation serving the Las Vegas area giving food and rides to the homeless and other disadvantaged in the Las Vegas area. The 1991 Dodge now in use has a trans that won't shift and a door that won't open. He has no paid staff and pays gas out of his own pocket. An old car with a big trunk would be very nice. t h a n k s dave

I drive a 1980 ford pinto wagon, it`s dying,my wife divorced me 4 years ago. I am in debt up to my eye balls. Due to child support I bring home less than 600.00 per month. I work hard and my job is about 15 miles away I can't even drive my car to work because I don't no if it would last. My employer is nice enough to let me drive my delivery truck to work and back every day until I get mine fixed or get another car. If it wasn`t for my fiancée I would be out on the street, and she has been unemployed, she just started a new job this morning making less money than me,I am not a bum or trying to b.s. anyone I work seven days a week. I don`t like begging for anything like this,but I am desperate and need help, PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN, THANK YOU.

MY DAUGHTER WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE A CAR, FOR ALL OF THE RIGHT REASONS. I MOVED TO LAS VEGAS ABOUT NINE MONTHS AGO, WITH MY THREE YOUNGER CHILDREN AND SHE STAYED IN SAN DIEGO WITH HER CHILD MY GRANDCHILD) AFTER ABOUT FIVE MONTHS SHE MISSED HER SIBLINGS AND HER MOTHER. I MYSELF MISSED HER AND MY ONLY GRANDCHILD TERRIBLY. SO SHE MOVED OUT HERE SHE STAYED WITH ME FOR SEVERAL WEEKS TILL HER EX-FIANCÉE MOVED OUT HERE AND THEY GOT THERE OWN PLACE, SHORTLY AFTER HE BEGAN GAMBLING TERRIBLY HE SOLD HER ENGAGEMENT RING, ALL OF THEYRE VALUABLES, AND HER FIRST AN ONLY CAR, FOR MONEY TO GAMBLE, THROUGH IT ALL HE WASNT WORKING, SHE WAS PROVIDING FOR HERSELF, HER SOON TO BE HUBBY, AND HER CHILD, WHILE HE GAMBLED AWAY THIER LIFES VALUABLES, ONE DAY HE DID WHEN A FOUR THOUSAND DOLLAR JACKPOT, AND RATHER THAN MAKING UP FOR ALL THAT HE HAD LOST HE TOOK OFF AND LEFT HER TO STRUGGLE THROUGH HIS HORRIBLE VEGAS HEAT WITH THEIR PRECIOUS ONE YEAR OLD.....I WOULD HELP IF I COULD BUT SHE HAS WAY TO MUCH PRIDE TO ASK ME WHO IS ALO A SINGLE MOTHER, AND THERE REALLY ISNT ANYONE ELSE OUT HERE TO HELP HER. SHE HAS BEEN THROUGH ALOT IN HER LIFE AND AFTER THIS INCIDENT I FEEL SHE HAS GIVIN UP ON ALOT, SHE HAS LOST ALMOST ALL OF HER FAITH AND IT HURTS ME TERRIBLY TO SEE HER LIKE THIS AND NOT HAVE THE FUNDS TO HELP HER. SHE HAS TO LEAVE THREE HOURS BEFORE SHE NEEDS TO BE AT WORK TO GET HER DAUGHTER TO CHILD CARE SO SHE CAN PROVIDE FOR THEM. PLEASE HELP MY BABY IN THE WAY THAT I AM UNABLE TO AT THIS TIME. I AM A HARD WORKING CHRISTIAN WOMAN AND WISH I COULD STRETCH TO HOLD HER IN THE WAY MY MOTHER WAS FOR ME, WE HAVE BASICALLY NO ONE LEFT EXCEPT FOR EACH OTHER TO DEPEND ON PLEASE HELP US MEND THE WOUNDS.

Debbie is my 29 yr old daughter. she has been on dialysis for 4 yrs. due to polycystic kidney disease. she needs a kidney transplant. we dont have much money, but we do what we can for her. she's been to hell and back at such a young age and has been in such high spirits through it all i am writing you now because we have a really hard time with transportation. she sometimes will miss her treatments because its so hard to get to the hospitals and then ends up getting sick. please if possible pick her to donate a car to as long as she can get to her treatments and home safely is all that matters. god bless you all and the terrific work you all do..

I am disabled due to various illnesses including heart disease. My daughter, has had 3 failed gastric bypass surgeries and her 4th gastric repair surgery almost killed her as she suffered from pancreatitis and almost died after her gall bladder was removed without reason. My daughter has a congenital birth defect of both feet and ankles, where she is missing cuneiform and cuboids bones and is unable to walk normal distances without pain...We relocated from New York to Las Vegas seeking affordable cost of living. We have no car and the public transportation is unreliable in Las Vegas. Life is harder because of lack of transportation but the cost of living is cheaper than New York on my limited Social Security Income. I work part-time to make ends meet and am having difficulty getting to work by bus. I put every dime I have into this move and have nothing for a used car at this time. Please...Can you provided assistance?

We are in desperate need of a vehicle. My husband has planned on going into the Military, due to problems he will not be able to join until July 06. We are currently living with my father and are looking for work. But being it gets so hot here it is hard to walk anywhere. We would really like to get on with our lives, because we don't have a job it is really hard to get money to buy a decent car.Thank you for your time and listening to our story. I just gave birth to a new baby girl 3 months ago. I feel I deserve a car that is reliable and safe for me and her. I’ve had a pretty tough life growing up from foster homes to group homes from the age of 12. I am now only 21 years old and on welfare and unemployed trying to get my life together to provide a future for my new daughter Zipporah. It makes it very difficult for me to work because of the never ending problems with my car. Right now, I own a 1994 Jetta Volkswagen that have too many electrical problems that just don’t seem to get any better each time I bring it to a car shop. Not only my engine broke down on randomly numerous occasions when it was used to get to work and back, the windshield wipers, the air conditioning, and heating also stopped working as well. Unfortunately, I don’t have the extra money and time to keep up with this car because I have a new baby to take care of first. Also, this vehicle automatically unlocks itself sometimes and when it happened when I stayed in Pomona, CA. I was robbed of all of my belongings including my newborn clothes that I had packed away for me and her two days before we moved to Nevada and begin a new life. Now we start from scratch. Ever since I owned this car it seems to have brought me nothing but bad luck. I need to be able to transport my infant to doctors for check ups and shots, I need to be able to work and be back home for my daughter in a timely matter because it’s hard for me to find somebody who can watch her, and I am always in fear of my car breaking down and causing a bigger problem like an accident. My friends Adam n Anita desperately need a vehicle. Adam was driving 
home one night in his couple year old min van when a teenage boy on a 
bike came out of nowhere right in front of him. He was in the far right 
lane and the boy was coming out of a residential area. Adam swerved 
right to miss the boy hitting a telephone pole instead (saving the boys 
life). His full coverage insurance only paid about 82% because Adam had 
no gap insurance. Two months later Adams grandfather was diagnosed with 
cancer and had 6 months to live. Adam and Anita gave up their 150,000 
dollar home and sold almost everything to got take care of his grandpa 
till he passed of cancer. Due to their unselfish sacrifice he never had 
to spend a night in a hospital and died at home as he wished. Ever 
since and they have struggled relentlessly to get back on their 
feet to no avail. they live in an apt. now and have been without a car 
for 6 months. Please help these two they are good people and reall
 y deserve a helping hand from god , Santa, or anyone with a heart and 
the means to help.

Anne-Marie is my grandmother. She has had a hard life in the past few years. My mother passed away 8 years ago, and my Aunt Debbie had a stroke 2 years ago. In addition to all of this, my grandfather lost his eyesight, is now in a wheelchair and unable to do a lot of things for himself. Currently, they use a paratransit bus or taxi to get to his drs. appointments (of which he has a lot). Although my grandmother drives, she doesn't have a car. She just can't afford one. When my aunt had her stroke, it was my grandmother who took care of her in addition to working and caring for my grandfather. As a result, she lost her job, and now has no health insurance for herself. Even though paratransit is great, it's hard for both of them. She needs to make the appointment at least one day in advance, and sometimes the bus picks them up 2 hrs. before the appointment time, they go to the appointment, and has to wait to be picked up anywhere from 1/2 hr to 2 hrs after that. If they are lucky there are no other pickups or dropoffs. So a drive that would take 10 min. there, 1/2 for the appointment and 10 min. home can take up to 5 1/2 hrs. When she does her regular grocery shopping she takes the regular bus (she has to walk 2 blocks to the bus stop), because the paratransit only allows 3 grocery bags she has to take a cab home. In addition to that, she helps me and her other grandchildren whenever she can, and she just found out that she's going to be a great-grandmother. My grandfather is on social security, and my grandmother had to take early social security. There is a very limited income for them. Please, they can really use a car. Thank you.
