I need a vehicle because I have no way to get around.  I'd like a way
to get around to job interviews.  A car could change my life.  i would
be able to get to doctor's appointments and to church.  I've never had a
car of my own and since being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis five
years ago, I'd given up the hope of living my dreams.  I'd like to get a
second chance and believe getting a car is a good way to start.  Thank

hi my name is Eddie,
this is a sad story but true....i am twenty years old and i never grew
up with my mom. my mom died when i was four years old. she was a nurse
in a hospital and slipped on the janitors mopping. i lived with my dad
for a while but he eventually ran out on me. i never received any money
from my mom's life insurance policy because my dad moved to Haiti. i
lived wih my sister for a while in low income housing. every night i saw
a little boy in my room and i told my sister one day and she beat me
with a belt saying i was lying. i was in and out of foster care my whole
life. i use to live on the streets in new york. i moved to
Massachusetts where i grew up and was staying at my friends house. this twenty
fourth i will know if i can stay or not because their intentions to sell
their house. i am now using my girlfriends car but she needs it to work.
i want to start college my next semester and never could do it without
a car. i just need a little boost to make it.

Hi! I need a vehicle because I have a small child and I am disabled on
disability and can't afford to buy one. I have a hard time walking due
to asthma, especially in the winter months. A car would greatly change
my life because then I would be able to get to the grocery store and to
doctors appointments without worrying about having an asthma attack or
what the weather is going to be like. My child is 3 years old and
sometimes it's just too cold for him to make it to the store.
It would also change his life because I then would be able to take him
places other than the front yard. I would be able to see his pre-school
and meet his friends. I also have a 12 year old daughter that does not
live with me and I would be able to see more of her where as I would be
able to pick her up at school. She takes figure skating lessons and I
have not seen her skate in 2 years because I don't have a car. Could you
[please help me obtain a car? It would be the greatest gift I had ever
received! Thank you

The company I worked at for several years went out of business
unexpectedly putting 200 employees on the street. They left owing me a months+
income, others
more. I have lost my car in the process and am on the verge of loosing
my residence. The type of work I do cannot be done without a vehicle
and I cannot afford to buy one. I am recently divorced and have two
beautiful children. School is starting soon and I am trying to keep a roof
over our head. Timing is everything in life. If you have a dependable car
it would be greatly appreciated.

well my mom is a very good mom to us she has four of us but only one 
live with her cause she has no transportation to get us to school so me n my 
brother 12 n my sister 16 n im 14 live with our dad which we love him 
but we miss living with my mom she was homeless for awhile n now through 
c.s.s help my mom get an apartment for us to live in but she hurt that 
we are not home with her my mom is trying to finish her GED so she 
could go to college but she cant cause she needs transportation to get my 
2yr old sister to daycare so my mom been very depress my mom is  in 
recovery n she is doing a wonderful job im proud of her n i want to do 
something nice for her so i write to you to ask you can you please im 
begging you can you help my mother and us so we can be a family again she has 
no money to buy a car n she has really no help from anyone my mom been 
through alot but she is my hero cause she is a strong woman that wont 
give up on life she use to drink but now she loves recovery n her
  new clean n sober friends n i love them too cause they help her when 
no one else did if you met my mom you would love her too and by her 
getting this car it would help her with getting us home to her n getting 
us to school n also helping her to go to school n completing her goal so 
again i beg of you to help me help my mom thank you n god bless you

My dad is a very hard working man that is a single father who work lots
of hours n travels on the train n bus to get to work where it leave him
sometime late getting my baby sister who is only two yrs old she stay
with her mom n my dad wants to get her more often but the travel to pick
her up is a hour n a half to get her from home i stay with daddy but he
does not like me traveling that far i try to help him as much as i can
he volunteer twice a week working with trouble teens n he also goes to
a group on Wednesday in Boston called father friendly so at the end of
the week my dad only have 60dollars to get him through the next week
cause he has to pay rent buy food n he give me money to help me out but i
been trying to save my money dad give me to help him out n he does not
like when i do that cause he tells me he want me to go out n buy me
something nice so i feel bad when i do that cause i know we need a car my
dad pays child support for my brother which that 70dollars a wee
 k n he still give my brother whatever he want n that makes me mad n
sad cause i feel they are taking from my dad my dad is a wonderful dad
that take really good care of all three of us he not a deadbeat dad so i
wish i could do more for him cause when he get home from work my dad be
drain from all the traveling he has to do he donated a car that he had
that was no good it would of cost my dad over 8hundred dollars to fix
that car which was a 85audie n he do speech for people who lost their
love one through violence he do that walk for the kids that died on the
street every year so you see i want to do something good for him cause
he has a beautiful heart he help out a lot of people when he can so i ask
you could you please please help my father he deserve it n i know he
would be happy cause then we can do more like we use to thank you for

I have a 2 1/2 year old son, whom is severely developmentally delayed,
as well as blind and deaf. but i do my best to try and not let it
discourage me. he is my HERO the strongest person that i know. see im a
single mom, i had a car and apartment, but my sons father was very abusive,
so for the sake of my son i finally said "thats it" i gave him the
apartment with every thing in it, all my son and i left with were the
clothes on our backs, and now we are trying to start over, and its hard. i
cant work, i know of no one that can care for my son not even child
care, so we really have no income, my my car got severely damaged, so im
with out a car, im living with my sister and her 7 kids, its very over
crowded. due to my sons illnesses, he's usually in the hospital about every
other month for days at a time, he has about 3 appointments a week, and
its just so hard trying to get someone to take us, or when we take the
train or bus, it is just so hard. and i cant afford a car, they are
  so expensive, and if there cheap they probably are not running,
please help.

been having difficulties going to doctor appointments and bringing her 
son to school. She needs a car for her children as well as her. please 
help!

It would change her in many ways to work, take her children to play, 
get out of the house, instead of being in the house 24 hours a day, with 
the bit of going out on the porch. Please Help!

I am a 45 yr old disabled handicapped mom.I am in need of a dependable 
vehicle. One that there is no concern of what parts will be falling off 
as I drive down the road.It has been 3 months since I junked my car.I 
have been homebound since.I would love to be able to show my 2 daughters

He owned a 1981 ford pickup that was in bad shape, the motor blowed up
on him, with no way to go he lost his job. He had to sell the body in
order to pay lights and water bills. He was able to find another job but
is not making the amount of money he was making and with all the bills
is not able to afford another way to go. I'm asking for someone maybe
to help him. Thank you!!

i am in need of a car.  i work 65 hours a week.  in the mornings i work 
in south deerfield at a regional high school.  the job is over 15 miles 
away from home and there is not public trasportation available to get 
to this job.  when my day job ends i go straight to work at my other 
part time job as a telephone operator for the deaf heard of hearing and 
speech disabled.  that job is located here in holyoke so when i get out 
of work at 9pm i walk 45 minutes home.  
i was using my fathers car but before he passed away this march he 
totaled the car.  it is difficult for me to purchase a car right now 1 
because my credit is not good at all.  and i am also taking on the bills my 
father incurred before his death and i have over $10,000.00 of debt to 
pay off.  so while i work enough hours to probably afford a car payment 
i am using the money i make to pay the house bills.  by next year i 
hope to have fixed the house out so that i will be able to sell and then i 
can start my life again.
please consider me a candidate for a free car.  i couild surely use the 
ride.

Tamika is a 21 year old student at Worcester State College working hard
for a degree in communications. She has a very high GPA (over a 3.5)
and is a very dedicated worker. She works part time while enrolled in
school but does not have enough money to afford her own car. As her
graduation approaches she is in more and more need of her own means of
transportation. She has set goals for herself for after graduation that I do
believe she will be able to achieve more efficiently with the
independence an automobile can give someone. She lives on her own and most of her
family hails from Florida so she has little assistance in these issues.
She is such a hard and determined worker I only think it is fair that
she see's a payout for the work she does to improve on her life.
