I am writing you this request about myself. I am a
single parent with
4 boys, the youngest with Cerebral Palsy. My husband divorced when he
was born and I had to leave my job in 2002 to care for my son's medical
fragilties. The doctors said he would never walk and talk, much less
read and write. But God is faithful! He is now reading, writing,
talking, singing and praising the Lord. However, now that I am ready to go
back to work and put him in school, I can't afford a car. You see, I
recently had four house fires in less than six months. I also used up
all of my savings to care for him and sending his brothers to college.
Now that his brothers are gone, it's just me and my little boy. He is
ready to go to a school for special education and I have taken him as
far as I can take him. Most importantly, the Lord has called me into
ministry. I desperately need to walk in my ministry. I'm so burdened
by
the needs of this world; the homelessness, the poor, the crime an
d so much more! I need a car to do effective ministry and earn an
income. But I can't do anything unless I know without of doubt that my
child is in a school he so richly deserves and gets the education that he
needs. Unfortunately, the school does not offer transportation and all
of my efforts to buy a car have failed! Please consider give me a car.
Thank you in advance and God Bless!
New Carrollton
I need a car for numerous reasons. I need to do the
neccesities even
though I stay with my mother.
My car was stolen either on the 11th or 12th this month.
My car gives an odd piece of mind; especially sense I have a number of
"illnesses".
I have AIDS, side effect known as trombosis as well as neoropathy
(nerve disorder).
A car would allow me to not only do the things I need for my health,
but possibly I could visit persons that make my emotional level jump for
joy.
Well, I thank you for your time and consideration.
Respectfully,
Brandywine
Mary has been on medical disability for over 10 years, she
is single,
lives alone and has managed on her own until recently. About three
weeks ago, she was on her way home and was in a serious car accident with a
drunk driver. The accident not only left her with severe injuries
which require her to need physical therapy twice a week, but it has taken
away her car. It was totaled in the accident, and because of her
injuries and the need for medical treatment she had to retain a lawyer to try
an get the money necessary to pay for her medical bills. She was given
a $2,000 settlement for her car (as it was approx. 10 years old).
However, without the ability to work full time, the need for medical
treatment she cannot afford to purchase a car that would require monthly
payments. She is currently borrowing a friends car to go back an forth to
the doctor, but this generosity will end soon, when her friend needs her
car back. Mary has also been advised that the mobile home that
she lives in, needs a new roof. If she could be considered for a
car, this would help so much. I know that she is worried beyond belief,
and would never think to ask for this gift on her own. If she received
this gift, she could use part of the money she received to pay for her
roof. Please consider her...thank you

To Whom it may concern,
My Friend is need of a car! I have tried to help her but there is not
much that I can do! (Financially speaking!) She lives where the buses
stop working at 7pm and there is no train system. She can't get a job
because she can't get to and from work. She has two daughters. They are
ages 2 and a half and 2 months. Someone please help her out with a vehicle
she has had a hard year so far.
I believe with this vehicle she will be happy and she can provide for
her girls like she would like to!! So would someone with a kind heart
help her make life worth living. Give her happiness once again. Because
it is stressfully trying to get a newborn and a toddler on and off the
bus without any help!!!
Sincerly, a friend in concern!
Fitchburg,
I didn't want to submit a story on myself but I have no other chance at helping my family out. I want to provide at least the bare necessities for my children. I have failed several times because of financial hardship. Even lost them in the past, for 2 years because of it.I am ashamed because I couldn't provide and had to watch my children go through an emotionally trying experience. With little education literally I had nothing to offer. My husband and I struggled to find decent employment, but he also failed because of a disability that affected his attendance at work, that wasn't considered by the SSI office to be enough for assistance. I was determined to study and now I am a C.N.A. But still struggling with transportation issues I cannot obtain the job in which my main goal was to help others. I just want to provide a decent living for my children which innocently have to suffer because of a lack of income. I can't wait to look upon my childrens face without being ashamed and for them to be secure. I know I am not the only one that has gone through a time in which it seemed impossible to move on. If someone can help, it would prove that nothing is impossible as long as you have faith. God Bless
North East,
I recently lost my job in MI and had to move back to my parents place.
I am fully capable of work and am desperately searching but unfortunately
I am not close to anything that would be in walking distance. My
fiancé also is with me and she needs to be working also because she needs
medical insurance to cover her epilepsy medication. If I had a car I
could get a decent maintenance job close to an area where she could also
gain employment and get her medicine. Thank you so much for any
considerations
Baltimore,
Cars4Christmas,
I am wrting to explain a great need of my co-worker. She just started
working her a couple of months ago and finally got her section 8
housing...44 miles away from her job here. She had a little beat up car that
she had just paid off..and it died on her coming to work a week ago. Now
she is forced to stay in a tiny 2 bedroom apt with her two grown
children, their spouses, and 3 grandchildren under the age of 4 yrs. old. She
is going to school on Pell grant to try to further her education and
better herself. She is part of the audio ministry at her church, as well.
She doesn't make alot of money right now and was recently downsized
from a job she worked at for 21 years. Her credit is questionable, due to
the recent job loss and minimal salary she now received. She is a very
hard worker and desparately needs a reliable car to get to and from
work, school, and church. If you have any possible leads or individuals or
organizations willing to donate a nice, dependable small car to her, it
would bless her heart and make me happy as well. Thanks in advance.
