I am a disabled mom woh is raising 4 children. I am receiving ssdi due to a back injury I sustained while working as a cna. My husband works about 40 miles away from home and we have a vehicle we found out today needs over 700.00 worth of repairs and we are struggling so hard now just to pay our rent, food, and clothing for our children who are ages 14, 11, and a set of 4 year old twins. The vehicle we have is very unsafe it needs major brake work, pulleys and a whole new air compressor and water pump, and cv joint. it will be a matter of days before it finally gives out and we will be homeless if this happens because my husband will no longer be able to get to work. I had to cancel all my very much needed medical appointments because I can now not get to the due to the atate of disrepair the van is in(our only vehicle is a minivan) I will not put my childrens lives in danger by putting them in this death trap. If some one could find it in their hearts to either help with the repairs or with another vehicle it would mean the difference for us being homeless and impovished or self sufficent and secure. I am truly scared about this. It has aggravated the symptoms of my bi polar and panic disorder. I also have ptsd and aggoraphobia. Please assist us in this if at all possible. We would be happy if someone could just assist with vehicle repairs. God bless to all.

I am a single, disabled, 42 yr. old woman, and just had Gallbladder
removal surgery. I suffer from permanent spinal injuries from an auto
accident that was not my fault. I have a 1989, Toyota SR5, extra cab, 4x4
pick up truck, in need of repairs, that I can not afford. The oxygen
sensor, and throttle body need repair, and the left front fender needs a
rot hole repaired. The mechanical repairs alone will cost $300.00. The
body work even more. If you can please donate to help in cost of
repairs, or replacement of this vehicle, your donation will help to make my
ability to continue to see my doctors, and therapies, for rehabilitation.
Right now, I've had to cancel my desperately needed medical
appointments because I have no way to get to these appointments now, since my
pick
up isn't running properly. It will not pass state auto inspection in
the condition it is in, and so I'm now stranded alone, with no access to
public transportation, and no way to have access to another vehic
le. Please find it in your hearts to help as I've just had surgery,
and am in desperate need of a working vehicle. I have permanent spinal
injuries that require a bucket drivers seat with Lumbar back support.
Please help fulfill my wish, thank you.
