DONATE CARS IN CONNECTICUT to disadvantaged people

Tina works with special needs kids with the school system - she have three kids - ages from 2yrs- 4yrs - 8yrs old - she have to get up at 4 am in the morning to take a cab to the day care and then walk to work after she drop off the kids at the day care - and she spend her morning working with the kids for special ed - only part time - she can't go home because she don't have the money to take the bus home so she have to stay at the job until she punch in at 1;30 PM - after work she have to walk to the day care and then take the bus from one street to another street - i think Tina really needs a car her children is small - and it is getting cold and she have not given up - two weeks ago she got her license so she determine to hang it there - please consider her for this oppunity - thanks

My name is #### ###### and I'm a widow and I take care of all my grandkids on one income. I'm on disability and don't have a job I have retire years ago. when I had a job I was able to provide for my own kids. now all this responsilbity on me is to much I have to feed my grandchildren, and try to keep a roof over there heads it's hard very hard. with the mortgage company jumping on me all the time I'm losing my mind. I'm in serious need of a car my car had broke down and now I have nothing to get me to the doctor. I have diabetes and I have to care for my grand children. thank so much for taking time to reading this.

i need a vehicle because need to get to work, be able to do grocery and pick my baby up without her getting wet when it rain or freeze when it is cold in the winter. A car could change my life dramatically my daughter has surgery when she is week old she keep getting sick because her lungs is not full grow back i need to get her to her appt back and fourth, the biggest problem she has is getting congested and she need to see the doc regularly, please i am asking you i can't afford to buy a car which i am trying to get before winter comes i am s single mom of 5 kids and it's hard to make ends meet. thank you Janette

My husband and I were in a head on car crash when we were on our way to 
go to the YMCA for my physical therapy related to a herniated disc I 
recieved while nursing. Unfortunately I was almost able to return to work 
when a negligent person entered our lane of traffic and we were struck 
head on. Our finances had gotten very bad since I was out of work for 
almost 2 years and so I took the full coverage for my car insurance off 
and put only liability on it. Since the car accident I have been on 
disability and can not afford to buy a new car. My son gave me his first 
car last year however it is now on its last legs and my daughter is 
going away to college this aug. 27,06 and I do not know how I am going to 
take her there,let alone pick her up on her vacations ect. also since I 
live in a rural area their is not a very reliable bus service. I am 
still in a lawsuit over the accident and since the lawyer I had messed 
things up very badly my sons have had to spend all their extra money
  to pay for a new lawyer. It will now be another two years before the 
appeal even goes back to court. Meantime I worry about getting stuck 
somewhere and since my left leg/hip and both feet have alot of metal in 
them I have trouble walking.I would be overjoyed to recieve any car that 
is in good condition that I did not have to worry about breaking down

Hello it's Joyce nice to see someone may be out there to help me in need .I'm disabled and on SSI I now live in Middletown CT ..and have a lot of hardware in my right leg..see l moved here from New Bedford Mass 2years ago and have 2 Daughters and grandson in New Bedford Mass l miss so much and can get around to much just by Bus ...l need a Car so much to get around now l been sick and it's so hard to take 3bus to the DR Office..in May if 2006 at the age of 46 l had gone back to school at Middletown Adult High School and got my Diploma ..would love to go on with some more schooling but with no car it's hard .. Please Please help me out l cant walk far because of my leg l fall down when my leg get tired and l miss my kids so much ...l would Right like it if you would just think about me thank you Joyce

I have been disabled since 2000 from a work injury ,had 4 knee 
surgeries, became depressed and put on medication, obtained bulging discs in my 
back due to severe weight gain from lack of exercise from surgery and 
depression. in April 2006 i had gastric bypass surgery at Danbury 
hospital. my life has changed since then so much, i am currently working with 
the bureau of rehabilitation services in Connecticut to return to 
work. this has been a goal since surgery. i have lost 63 lbs so far,my back 
feels better, and i am happy for the first time in 6 years. my problem is 
that in order for me to commit to full time work,i need reliable 
transportation. I want desperately to go off social security disability and 
return to the work force. Is there any help out there???

I am writing to tell you about my mother, My mother has been caring for us for the past years. She been going to work every day until she lost her job, every since then, my mother could not afford to care for us anymore because she not able to go to work. You see where we live, we need a car, some of the jobs, my mother has apply to requires her own transportation. During the Christmas holiday, my mom has broke her ankle, every since then, she been using a cane to get around, being the fact her ankle was swollen, she can't go far as even to the corner, she needs a car to get her around, I want to know if you may be able to help her with an car so maybe she can get around and find another job and she do not has to worry about falling and hurting her self, if you have in your heart to help people , then maybe, you can bless my mother with a nice car. Iam so worry that if my mother do not get an job, we might losed our place and be homelss. WELL, FIRST OF ALL SHE IS MY GIRLFRIEND SINCE 2001.
I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN, BECAUSE SHES BEEN THREW TO MUCH IN 
LIFE ALREADY. STARTING WHEN SHE WAS A YOUNG GIRL WITH HER 2 OTHER 
SIBLINGS. SHE IS NOW 32 YEARS OLD AND HAS BEEN A MOTHER AND FATHER EVER SINCE 
SHES HAD HER 14 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WHO HAS 3 OTHER SIBLINGS. ROSA IS A 
VERY KIND AND LOVING PERSON SHE HELPS OUT IN ANY WAY SHE CAN TO THOSE 
WHO WHO NEED HELP. SHE LOVES TO MAKE NEW FRIENDS. SHE LOST HER FIRST SON @ 
6 MONTHES INTO THE PREGANCY. SHE SUFFERED ALOT. GOD BLESSED HER WITH 4 
VERY NICE KIDS 2 GIRLS AND 2 BOYS,AGE 14,13,10 AND 6 WHOM SHES BEEN 
RAISING BY HER SELF, WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM HER MOM & THE KIDS DAD. SHES TO 
THE POINT WHERE SHES THINKING THAT SHES NOT A GOOD MOM, BECAUSE SHES 
HAVE'NT BEEN ABLE TO PROVIDE FOR THEM THE THINGS THEY DESERVE AND SHOULD 
HAVE AS NORMAL FAMILY.HER GOALS, A HOME,FAMILY VAN WHERE THEY ALL DON'T 
HAVE TO FOR SPACE. SHES HAD NUMORUS CARS THAT JUST DONT SEEM TO BE 
RELIABLE.SHE JUST LOST OUT ON A HONDA STATION WAGON ONLY HAD FOR WEEK 
 AND MOTOR WENT.NOW SHES AT A SHELTER, THINGS ARE JUST GETTING WORSE 
EVERY DAY SHE WANTS TO GO TO SCHOOL IN NEW HAVEN FOR CLASSES ON PHLABOMITY 
TO ADVANCE INTO THE NURSING FIELD. SHE BEEN THREW DOMESTIC VIOLENCE FOR 
14 YEARS. SHE ALWAYS TRYING HER HARDEST TO MAINTAIN FOR THE KIDS . HER 
FAMILY REALLY WOULD LOVE TO SURPRISE WITH A NEW CAR . THE TWO GIRLS SAY 
THIS WOULD MAKE THINGS MUCH EASIER FOR HER TO GET TO SCHOOL.

He is an super achiever. He has managed to stay committed to school and 
volunteering at the local hospital despite the desperate situations 
that he encounters daily. He has watched his Mom help his Dad as he 
recouperates from a terrible car accident.He has heard of funds slipping away 
from the family savings. He now may witness divorce. He remains 
trusting of GOD always. His creative self always smiling and continues keeping 
us all together with his wit and charm. He is affectionately referred 
to as "our glue". 
While we have at one time been blessed with transportation, at this 
time our cars have gone on to Car Heaven through several car accidents and 
just plain old end of road events. I would love to see my son with his 
own car so he can drive to and from college. He is a most deserving 
child. To be able to not have to worry with how we will manage without a 
car will just be one more reason I feel he will be able to concentrate 
and go on with his studies. He is more than giving and I feel now it 
should be his turn.

I think this person deserves a vehicle. she walks every day to and from school to drop her child off.she deserves this more than anything in the world.she also work but doesn't make much. she has no family in Connecticut. she eats everything and dosent gain weight. the only thing she does is sit,pray,and wait

My name is darlene and i have been married for 7 yrs. my husband lost his job......and the banked repo'ed our mini-van.......so we were down to one car...and that did helped for awhile.....so then my brother bought us a used car we had that for about one yr and it started to die on us,,,,,,and finally it did know we have one car.....and it is falling apart as we speak .....we have a 6 year old son who needs to get to his baseball. games .....while my husband is working......and i don't like to ask people for a ride.....i fell embarrassed.......i work at night 25 mins....from home .....and what if something happens and i cant get home in time........we are trying to save money ..if we do something happens to our other car and we have to fix it.....please help us.....it would help us out......to be given such a gift.... we are know working to min wage jobs to put food on the table.and try to pay our bills if we had another.car it would help me get a another job......while my son is in school.......because my husband takes to the car work at 6;00 am in the morning

The request is for myself I will love to own my own car not a car that 
is someone's else you know my own right now I'm 22 years old I live 
with my family my mother step-dad 3 sisters and my little brother my 
mother is like the one who takes care of the house my father helps out and 
do what he can I look up to my mother because she motivates me she 
cannot give me the things I want thats material but she gives me alot of 
encouraging words
 My story is a lonh,but I dont like to go into it I did drop out of 
school for 3 years I return to school after three years and graduated high 
school in 2 and a half years going back and for on the bus rain winter 
snow I been through it all I sometimes just wanted to cry but I knew if 
I kept on doing what I was supposed to it would be worth it you know 
people that drive dont understand what it feels like to get out there and 
wait for that bus at freezing tempatures and sometimes it doesn't show 
for a least a hour because it came to early or maybe to late and theirs 
nobody out their with you at times so its even a worse feelin and all 
you think about is gettin home my mother she wants to see me have a car 
its justs hard she doesnt know how to drive i mean she's scared to do 
it i got my license but i dont know y cause i dont have a car to drive i 
feel right now its really worthlist the little bit of money i get goes 
to the house or on things i need and bills i got to pay so sav
 ing up is not really an option I do what i have to do to get where i 
need to be at i graduated with a certificate presented by the mayor the 
only one at the graduation that receive a award  and i got to stay a 
speech it was really great now im in a point where im in my third 
semester at college and still i have no car its really discouraging me to 
continue on then when i need to take my sisters or my mother places i cant 
and they dont know how much i really do want to help as far as that 
goes i want to be able to do for them as much as i can i will give my last 
for them i do it every time my dream for a car it may sound sooooo 
stupid i dream to one day have a car not just for me but for me and my 
family i want to help them as much as they help me thanks for whoever just
